Conservative

Conservative Judaism holds that the laws of the Torah and Talmud come from a divine authority. At the same time, Judaism exists in a modern culture which can be interpreted though a halachic authority such as the Committe on Jewish Law and Standards. Both Hebrew and the vernacular language are used in worship services. Sexes are not separated in services in the synagogue. Traditional Jewish law is observed with modifications in order to preserve national identities. Women may be ordained as Rabbi.
